Privacy Policy
Last updated July 14, 2026. This explains what we collect and why.
This is a starting template. Please have it reviewed against your jurisdiction's requirements (e.g. India's DPDP Act, GDPR) before you rely on it.
Who we are
Dharmarth Traders (OPC) Private Limited ("Dharmarth", "we") operates dharmarthtraders.com and provides fixed-price web development services worldwide.
What we collect
- Account details — your name, email and a securely hashed password (we never store the plaintext).
- Order details — the service you buy, project notes, company and country you provide.
- Payment records — provider, amount, currency and status. Card data is handled entirely by Stripe/PayPal and never touches our servers.
- Activity events — first-party journey signals including page views, CTA choices, coarse device/viewport class, scroll and engagement milestones, quote-form progress and abandonment, account creation, orders, checkout and payment events.
- Quote qualification — information you choose to provide about your company, role, project type, business goal, current website, budget, timeline, buying stage, contact preference and referral source.
- Technical data — IP address and a session cookie, used for security and to keep you logged in.
How we use it
To deliver your project, process payments, run your account and order tracking, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve our services. We do not sell your personal data.
Cookies
We use a strictly-necessary, HttpOnly session cookie for authentication. For first-party funnel measurement, the browser stores random visitor/session identifiers and first-touch attribution in local/session storage. These records help connect an intentionally submitted quote to the visitor's preceding journey. Analytics does not record form text, keystrokes, precise device fingerprints or third-party advertising identifiers, and we do not use third-party tracking cookies.
Data sharing
We share only what's needed with payment processors (Stripe, PayPal), hosting/infrastructure providers, and our transactional email provider when configured. Identity-verification providers (e.g. DigiLocker) are used only if you choose to verify.
Retention & your rights
We keep order and account records as long as needed for the service and legal obligations. You may request access, correction or deletion of your data by emailing us.
